Tyler Jeffrey Hynes, born on May 6, 1986, in Toronto, Ontario, Canada, is a multifaceted Canadian actor, director, producer, editor, writer, and musician. Raised on a 24-hectare ranch outside Ottawa, he began his professional acting career at the age of eight, performing as Tiny Tim in a 72-performance run of A Christmas Carol. He subsequently toured Canada as young Tommy in The Who’s Tommy .
